View the publishing report

View the publishing report to see warnings or errors generated during publishing. You can view the report using FactoryTalk ViewPoint Administration or a web browser. The publishing report is overwritten each time displays are published, including automatic background publishing.

If Internet Explorer® cannot open the publishing report and shows an information bar at the top of the page, check whether the security option, Allow active content to run in files on My Computer, is selected.

To view the publishing report in FactoryTalk ViewPoint Administration

• On the Publish Displays screen, click View publishing report.

To view the publishing report from a web browser

• Open a web browser to the following URL. Replace computer_name with the name of the FactoryTalk ViewPoint server:

  http://computer_name/ftvp/Reports/Report_ConversionResult.html

  If the site has an HTTPS binding, enter https instead of http.
