Objects on a display are not converted

If objects in the display are missing or do not behave as expected, consider the following potential causes and remedies.

FactoryTalk ViewPoint does not support the object or all of its features

Some objects and features available in FactoryTalk View Studio are not supported in FactoryTalk ViewPoint. For a list of which FactoryTalk View objects are not supported in FactoryTalk ViewPoint, view the FactoryTalk ViewPoint Release Notes.

Unsupported objects or features generate an error or warning during the publishing process. All errors and warnings are shown on the publishing report.

  • To view the publishing report, on the Publish Displays to Web page, click View publishing report.

Incorrect object properties or connections

If an object has incorrect properties or connections, it may not behave like other objects of the same time in FactoryTalk ViewPoint.

  1. Determine if other objects of the same type are working properly.
  2. Review the object properties and connections in FactoryTalk View Studio.
  3. Publish the displays again.

Tip:

For more information about FactoryTalk View features that are converted during publishing, see Answer ID 57596 in the Rockwell Automation Knowledgebase.
