List of displays is empty or missing displays
After you select a FactoryTalk View application, if the list of graphic displays is empty or does not contain all of the displays you expect to see, consider the following potential causes and remedies.
Incorrect FactoryTalk View application
The displays you are looking for may not be contained in the FactoryTalk View application you selected.
- Verify you selected your intended FactoryTalk View application.
Incorrect Application Type
The displays you are looking for may be in an application located in another FactoryTalk Directory.
- From the navigation bar, select Publish Displays to Web.
- From the Select aFactoryTalk View application type list, select an application type.

Site Edition (Network Distributed) - shows applications from the FactoryTalk Network Directory specified in the FactoryTalk Directory Server Location Utility.

Site Edition (Network Station) - shows applications from the FactoryTalk Network Directory on the computer that hosts the FactoryTalk ViewPoint server.

Site Edition (Local) - shows applications from the FactoryTalk Local Directory on the computer that hosts the FactoryTalk ViewPoint server.
FactoryTalk ViewPoint Administration requires refresh
If you are modifying or creating new displays in FactoryTalk View while FactoryTalk ViewPoint Administration is open, the list of screens will not be updated until the web page is refreshed.
- Press F5 to refresh FactoryTalk ViewPoint Administration with any new application content. FactoryTalk ViewPoint Administration shows the Home page.
- Click Publish Displays to Web.
- Select the FactoryTalk View application you are working on and then click 2 Select displays.
The list of displays should now include any new displays you created in FactoryTalk View Studio.
